Welcome and thank you for stopping by!
Hello, nice to meet you.
My name is Moppa.
That’s it, no middle name, no family name, no aka (also-known-as). Simply Moppa.
Where I live it’s not uncommon to have just the one name.
In fact, all my friends are called by just the one name.
The reason why my name is Moppa is, as you can see. I am a dog.
Anyone who knows anything about the ‘Stories from Bronki’, will know that I am a particularly smart dog.
Not smart like winning TV talent competitions. But smart in that I know absolutely everything about anything.
I am the canine equivalent of Wikipedia on four paws.
It’s a knowledge I have always had and in the stories there are many occasions that I am happy to pass on.
Whether it’s moments in history, the natural world, the arts, literature, science or sport.
For me it is a sheer delight to be able to expand the knowledge of others, no matter how trivial the information may seem.
That’s me finished for a while, so please go and explore the site.

Whistles
Here are some ‘whistles’ from readers, who kindly gave their time to review Bruno Night Away.
I've just finished reading the first book and oh my gosh! I absolutely LOVE it. The characters are charmful and adorable, so full of personality. I admire the atmosphere you've created! Absolutely beautiful writing, I enjoyed every second of it.
It was truly lovely reading it. I did enjoy every moment. The characters are depicted with wit and humour, and the conversations between the animals are so funny. Especially between the all-knowing Moppa and always curious Hektor. I like the style you write, and the exact words you choose. It shows that you spent quite some time on building the story and depicting the nature of each animal using carefully selected words.
I have read it a couple of times. It’s genius... all the strings and how you tie them together. My spontaneous thoughts are that the language is rich and poetic, and it IS funny. You are a good storyteller!! Lovable characters.
I've read the story, and I loved it!
I really liked it. Characters so vivid and likeable and you told it smoothly and unconstrained.
Amazing!!

The release of this first book could not have been possible without the professional help of certain individuals that I feel privileged to be associated with and to convey my sincerest thanks.
EDITOR
Jane Hammett
CIEP Advanced Professional Member
When I initial sent my completed draft for editing I had a few sleepless nights anxious about my treasured little story it would be ‘looked after’. I need not have worried. Jane’s approach was a huge confidence booster for me. Her corrections, explanations and suggestions for improving the story made it clear how important an editor is in this self-publishing journey. Jane has already completed both second and third stories in this first series.
Illustrations, Formatting and Cover Designs
Aleksandra ‘FoxinaJacket’ Popowicz
It had taken me over two patient years to final discover the stunning artwork of Aleksandra. From viewing the very first sketches I knew I had found an illustrator for my ‘Bronki Heroes’. Her creative connection and interpretation were immediately seen. I am enormously fortunate to find the talent for these stories that I am certain any reader will agree. It was important that the characters visually re-create their real-life traits. I wanted to get back to the style of illustrations that were in the books I read as a child. The artwork is simply stunning.
Translation
Maria Borzobohata-Sawicka
I am totally thrilled to include Maria as part of the ‘Bronki Crew’ team. She is widely regarded as one of Poland’s most sought-after translators for films and TV scripts, and internationally known fiction and non-fiction literature. For her to take time out in her hectic work schedule to translate this and the next two stories is a huge statement in the standard of quality being offered in these publications.
Website Designer
Wanda Zjawińska (pandiit.pl)
I also wish to thank Wanda Zjawinska who must have consumed an excessive amount of coffee to give me such an incredible website. I am certain it will greatly contribute in bringing a wider audience to the Stories from Bronki. The amount of features I was asking her to include, I was afraid it was turning it into something even the Mighty Avengers or the Justice League couldn’t subdue.
